Open Door celebrated its first year as charitable incorporated organisation at its first AGM on 27 March 2025.
Chair, Marion Barton thanked everyone who had supported the charity’s work during the year, including all the volunteers, supporters and the many organisations that provided much needed funding.
Marion offered particular thanks to Debs Gogarty, Simon James and Marian Curtis who were stepping down as Trustees. She then welcomed David and Rachel Cox, David White and Samantha O’Sullivan who all put themselves forward as new Trustees.
2025 will be an exciting year for the charity as attendance at the four chat cafes continue to grow, demonstrating the very real need for its work.
