Finding Comfort Together: Our Grief and Bereavement Support Group

Grief can often feel overwhelming, isolating and unpredictable. However, it is important to remember that you do not have to navigate it alone. We are pleased to share the latest Dorothy House Bereavement Help Point document, which is available to download by clicking on the PDF icon.

As part of this wider support network, Open Door Warminster proudly leads the local sessions, at The Athenaeum Warminster, every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month between 10:00 and 12:00 pm.

What to Expect from Our Support Group

Our group acts as a friendly, supportive drop-in session for anyone coping with bereavement. We understand how difficult loss can be, and our goal is to provide a gentle, understanding space where you can:

  • Meet others who are also grieving and share experiences at your own pace.

  • Find comfort in compassionate company.

  • Speak with specially trained volunteer facilitators who are on hand if you’d like someone to talk to, or if you need guidance and support.
